Due to my special interest in these two areas, I have completed two separate post-residency fellowships in both foot and ankle orthopaedics as well as pediatric orthopaedics. I also have extensive experience treating injuries in both adults and children. I am active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA).

Over the past 3 years, I have developed an interest and passion for minimally invasive foot surgery. I was exposed to these types of surgical techniques in my fellowship training and I have continued to learn and implement these techniques in my practice. When these techniques are applied properly, they can shorten the surgical recovery time for patients. I am an active member of the Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery (MIFAS), a worldwide organization dedicated to education and advancement of minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery.

My education and training started with an undergraduate degree in zoology at the University of Oklahoma, where I graduated with honors. I then attended the Texas Tech Health Science Center – School of Medicine where I received my Doctor of Medicine degree. During medical school, I was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. I then completed his residency training at Texas Tech Health Science Center. He completed his first fellowship at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children. I then went on to practice at a children’s hospital in the Norfolk, Virginia region for four years. During my time working as an orthopaedic surgeon at the children’s hospital, I developed a special interest in surgical correction of complex pediatric and adolescent foot deformities. I then decided to complete additional training in adult and adolescent foot and ankle orthopaedics at the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Center in Falls Church, Virginia.

When I am not at work helping patients get back on their feet, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and two young boys. If am fortunate enough to get time away for myself, I enjoy paddleboarding, hiking, bicycling, and reading.
